I had a 6'-6" friend 30 years ago who swore by the Nissan 240SX for front leg room. No doubt there are tendencies for certain car makes to favor certain builds. I believe airbag certification makes this more difficult (accommodating diverse sizes) as the steering wheel to chest dimension can be critical. Whoever works it out the best probably scores more buyers.
