I RESET my Trip B again. DAMN.

    I would like the Trip to require holding the Trip button AND pressing the Volume button to Reset it.
    How did this get past the prototype testing ???

    Well, it's one safe and dependable way to record miles travelled. Yes, doesn't have the extra stuff.

    If for example your object is to record distance travelled since last fill up, if you've recorded your odo setting at that last fill up, it doesn't matter what befalls your trip meter(s). Maybe I'm belabouring the obvious, LOL.
