ICE cycling off and on repeatedly in traffic

    I saw that video and it's not clear how much did they charge the battery (to 80%?) and what SOC they had at the end, for a short trip this is very important and (almost) every one can manage 100 MPG under that conditions.

    Only in temperatures that are on the borderline such that the defrost can quickly clear the windshield. Having a window open can help but doesn't help much at low speeds.
