Hello, I've noticed that the in-dash CD changer on my 2005 JBL equipped Prius doesn't turn off when the car is locked and left for multiple hours. The green/orange lights stay illuminated above each number on the head unit and if left long enough fully drains the battery. The 12v battery was replaced by Toyota one month ago and has been further tested and checked that it's fine. I've also left the 12v battery disconnected for a hour to 'reset' the car which hasn't worked. It's almost as if the car isn't 'going to sleep' when locked, has anyone else had this issue and do you know of a repair?
Cheers, auto electrican has diagnosed a faulty head unit. The current unit is a cassette JBL unit, can I install the newer 2006+ unit without cassette?
