In Dash Opening...

    Is the in dash opening below the CD changer in the '06 model, (where you could put CD's, etc.) capable of holding an audio component that would fit into a standard slot?

    Yep....it's got the smoked glass retractable door covering it, but behind it
    is a pocket. I'm considering adding an EQ there.

    I used the opening to remove the cover and place an VGA Touch screen monitor. Installation was not too difficult, but it makes a perfect spot for a second screen. The spot is a standard DIN so it makes a nice place for extra mods.

    Yes, I'm nuts about the Prius.

    yes. I installed an alpine head unit there.
