I like the way bisco welcomes everybody. And he certainly has dedicated much time (and years) to this website. Do you think he is really Danny in disguise?
Yup. That's the place I mean, too. Like this: Which leads to this: Yup, I'm asking you, oh hyper-experienced, but not very geeky denizen of Prius Chat. And then I'm stuck. Originally, that text under the avatar by my posts changed as I added more posts. But I have never found a way to edit it. Maybe if it was a bigger deal to me, I'd have pursued it more aggressively. Edit to add: I put some test text into the status message box. No change to avatar. It just moved the text to under the text box where I entered it.
hover on the avatar then click 'personal details', scroll down to 'custom title'. replace 'senior member' with your choice of wording.
Thanks for trying, Bisco. I don't know why, but the "Personal Details" page does not contain the words, "custom," "details," or "senior." I even did a cmd-f search for each word individually. I need a head scratching emoticon.
Can we get back on topic?? Danny sighting: Before they kick us back to FHOP... Not that there's any shame in that.
What about bisco's duplicate posts when the forum acts up? If bisco = Danny, then wouldn't Danny/bisco clean those dupe's up in a hurry?
Misdirection my boy, misdirection. Danny/Bisco (hey, isn't there a movie that name) is a master of misdirection. He is also master of the macabre and the epitome of extended hypermiling.
Danny has not been seen on the What Drives Us YouTube show in I don't know how many months. He had started his own show, and I think it ran for a couple of episodes tops, and ended about the same time. If he isn't dead, I prefer to think Danny might be in cryo storage, or locked in carbonite, ala Han Solo.
Starts to sound like site-work, which Danny doesn't doo. Dups probably bump up the post count. That in turn, engages individual perks like peerage, custom title, cookies to crumble, registration and insurance. Trips and Quads build the count faster, while further degrading server performance. Followed by . . . Squeal of brakes , crash noise , database errors
