My driver side door woofer is distorting but I can't tell if what I need is an entirely new speaker or just a refoam/repair? How does one diagnose this? Thanks.
You have to remove the door panel to see and feel the speaker to make sure that nothing else is wrong with it.
probably just needs new foam; my 2005 sounded terrible cause the foam was torn about 1/2 way around. tampa prius did a thread on speaker repair, and it doesn't look like its too difficult.
