    If I wanted a retro-style car I'd just buy a PT Cruiser or Beetle or Aero Coupe since they have the reliability of modern tech, but with that old style appeal.

    Alternatively if I wanted an actual 1930s or 40s model, I'd drive to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank and ask the locals if they want to sell me a fully-functioning & running classic car.
