Mini-van is great with 3 or more kids when you want to road-trip with a fair amount of gear. We can Pack the 2010 pretty full, but we end up leaving things behind or stashing things on the floor of the back seat. As the kids get bigger (15, almost 10, and 2 in a FF carseat), they'll quickly run out of room. The v doesn't quite answer this use case, but a 3rd row would. We've held off trading the 2004 Prius for a Seinna because I really want something along the lines of the Estima (hybrid mini-van in JP only), and don't want to settle for 20mpg.
