    Cultured marble makes a nice vanity top.

    Can't say I fault the company for missing the pinholes on the overflow. Easy to do -- I imagine they did much of the crafting at your place, so that makes it even easier than if it is in a more controlled environment.

    the patch will be fine -- it would be fine even without the patch -- how often are sink overflows put in use. But, you do deserve a leak-free top.

    So, congratulations -- Since February, huh.

    My wife would have put up with that for about four days -- not five months. :p

    Yeah, material comforts for the most part are not on the top of my "need" list.

    I used the bathtub for brushing teeth and washing hands, etc for those months. Still might be without a vanity if it were not for a kind relative who wanted to give me a "useful" gift.

    I am lucky in that I do have a good cadre of kind relatives. Of course, no one appreciates them until they are gone.
