In my experience, red line fuel treatment gives the most mpg to the prius. Plus you only need half bottle.

Throw the other half out in the garbage bin.

And you have data to measure this 'difference'? With and without this amazing 'treatment'? Is there a cost benefit to using this 'treatment'?
Do tell,,, how many 'more mpg' does a 'half a bottle' get you?

Me? I'm lucky to ever get two tanks to measure that close to each other.
I guess where I live the temps change, the winds change and my speed may change a bit, but mostly I stick to +5mph the speed limit.
But my driving isn't always the same old commute.

Yes the data is on my dashboard. I'll take pics of before/after next time I do a treatment. I only do it once a year, so a bottle (using only half) lasts me 2 years and maintains my mpgs.

    Sounds plausible....

But you might look up Placebo Effect.
Could it be the first warm spring week of the year that you pour this elixir in your tank?
As said, my mpg is always varying. Always.

I've done fuel treatments during the winter with good results. I understand where you come from though, there are plenty of people who don't believe in fuel systems getting dirty and losing performance.

Toyota advertises a product to clean injectors on its Malaysian website. But is it possible that Malaysian fuel is very contaminated?

You know, I think you're right. I never use the stuff. Lots of +110k cars in my past. I have a pal that has a few Prii, some that got into the +500k mile range and has never used the stuff.

Without A -- B testing how do you know what 'results' you claim to be getting by pouring this stuff into you tank once in a while?

I use a bottle of fuel system cleaner in my Prius once a year maybe, but I also only use top tier gas stations. It could explain why on my Prius when I did the first EGR cleaning (I forget the miles, 130ish-k) it wasn't clogged at all and looked nothing like the others posted here.

The mpg indicator on the dash will have higher mpgs.
