Pretty sure the 2016 HAH is gone. The only one left is the CR-Z. 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid Overview - Official Site Honda USA only lists the 2015 HAH at the price you listed - $29,305
The 2016 Honda Accord Hybrid Plugin was cancelled but the regular hybrid is supposed to live on. There is a short delay as manufacturing of the North America version of it is moved from Japan to Ohio. Honda Civic Hybrid, Natural-Gas Models Eliminated After 2015
This is awesome! The future of the automobile is away from total gas engine to either electric/gas, electric or hydrogen. Chevy is sticking out as at least going the gas/hybrid way and good for them. This is a good example of one of the big three going all out in this direction. But, having said that, we will always know who took the lead first, and built the most first!! What I am waiting for is reliability. Will the big three still come up short in reliability? I need to see a Chevy Volt hit over 250,000 miles with minimal issues. I know some have reached 200,000 miles, I hope it becomes the norm for them. The big 3 have to get to the same reliability that Toyota has built over the last several decades.
I am surprised there have been no posts in this thread for 18 months. How has the Malibu hybrid been received? It is a car I might think about because at the moment I am annoyed at my 2010 Toyota for burning a lot of oil at 90,000 miles.
Used 2016 Malibu hybrids are $14000 on up, great deal for a decent car. Like all cars no one buys them so they are rare and cheap
There was a 2016 leftover at a great price that I would have jumped on if we needed a replacement car at the local dealer. The one hybrid they have is listed at nearly $5k below MSRP GM has been just letting them sit on the lot it appears. With the Volt and Bolt, they may not need to sell the Malibu hybrid for CAFE.
GM makes its money on trucks and *UVs They have plenty of credits so don't bother marketing or advertising most of their cars
Yes, and the surplus of credits means they don't car about poor Malibu hybrid sales, nor have to discount them like Ford does with their hybrids.
Up to 2016, over a 100k Volts were sold. Then for CAFE, I think many here would be a little surprised that many of GM's ICE offerings match or best Toyota's.
