I just picked up a 2004 prius, only issues with it are that the MFD and radio do not work. The MFD was a 47080, I was able to grab a 47081 from a buddy for nothing and tried it. Now, the new (used) one works fine now as far as climate control, ac, energy monitor and the display. Are the radios also a common failure? I have no blown fuses and I have power at the radio, so I'm assuming the radio is bad as well even though my MFD is a different number than the prior, as I had no radio function before either.
not a common failure, but since the oe radio was garbage even when it was new, aftermarket head unit installation time.
