Michelin CrossClimate 3 being released - contact Michelin to encourage them to make it for Prius

X-Ice is a dedicated snow tire that feels and drives like an all season tire. Once the weather warms up the compound will wear exponentially faster than say an all season or summer tire. If you swap out after every winter you can get 4-5 good years out of the X-Ice depending on miles whereas if you drive them year round the winter compound will be toast after a couple years. Driving snow tires in summer is a foolish as driving summer tires in winter. Not to mention dangerous as the handling and braking distance will be severely compromised.

My current winter tires are X-Ice Snows my second set of X-Ice Snows so I do have experience with these tires also previously ran a set of Blizzaks.
