    Seriously. Based on my experience with VW electrical systems, they're the last people on Earth I'd want designing a hybrid.

    For me, the VW ad is just an illustration of an inferiority complex.

    Heh. Yeah, VWs are notorious for electrical problems.

    Maybe the only people worse would be Lucas? A car mag once said "Lucas lives" about some British car they were reviewing that supposedly didn't even use Lucas electronics anymore but yet they still had electrical gremlins.

    A Brit coworker had to explain to me what was meant by that and the notorious rep Lucas got.
