Hi All, This is my first post on the forum and i apologize for the dumb question but i have a 2002 Prius that i got from somebody else. It has the DVD navigation system ( checked for it under the passenger seat, and it even had the DVD inside it ). However, when i select any option on the screen it asks me to insert Navigation DVD. Any ideas? I do not want to go to the dealership and spend big bucks on figuring out what the issue is with this..if it works - great! If not - i can live with that. Thanks, Nik8
You might try unplugging the cable from the back of the DVD unit for a minute and then plug it back in. That should cause a reset and hopefully a re-read of the DVD. If that does not work, you might try swapping a disk with someone with a similar year car to see if its the disk that is bad or the player
