Navigation unit issue

    I have a 2005 Prius and need a new navigation unit and I found a place I can order online, however I did something not so bright I ordered for a 2007 Prius. I need to know if a 2007 navigation unit will work in a 2005 does anyone know?

    If anything, there would be an improvement if you put in the 2007 model. It might be higher resolution than 2005 model MFD screens

    Probably not a good choice even if it does work.
    It may come with 6 year old maps on it which might cost up to $150 to update.

    A good Garmin with lifetime maps can be had for about $150.

    Suzanne: Why does your profile say that you have a 2007 model car ??
