Nuked might not be the best description of a 4-point win, but there it is. Villanova and Kansas will meet soon on that side.

On other side we have Michigan who have either 'managed' or over performed as a 3-seed. Against Michigan is Loyola-Chicago who as an 11-seed is in rare air in final four. Standard wisdom is for Michigan to proceed, but I suppose that this will be a highly viewed game.

Prior predictions were ruined by UMBC (see True Grit above) crushing 1-seed Virginia. Kansas State beat them and were later crushed by Loyola-Chicago. This will be a highly viewed game.

However it ends, the beginnings and middles of this March Madness have been mad.

On the Ladies' side, no one can touch University of Connecticut. Whaddayagonna do?

Loyola-Chicago in the final four means that this March has already been a worthwhile diversion.
I'd like to say that I'm stoked....or even marginally interested in Vilanova-Kansas, but I probably will not watch that game.

    March 29th.
Earliest MLB opening day ever if I'm accurately informed.
    Global warming at work? :D

Obviously I was wrong about U Conn ladies. Not for the first time

Just now, things are percolatin' at The AlamoDome. Can say no more, for fear of jinxification.

Remember, "The NCAA opposes all forms of sports wagering"

Says so right on their bracket prepared for that purpose.

I’ve heard it compared to education and bettering ones self:whistle:.

While I paid to get my college education, they are paid in the form of a free education;).

But when my alma Mater comes callin’ for more support, I decline each time knowing Beaver Stadium is packed every home game and 70+ k people there should be able to foot the bill:).

    Some how they get by(y).

True but for some it is a way out and the only way is through athletics.

If the universities and NCAA only treated the system with this in mind:cool:.
