I have a '05 Prius, w/upgraded jbl amp (non-Nav). I have diconnected the jbl amp (to defeat the beep!!!) and kept the factory head unit in the dash. However... I have an audio shop trying to hook up my aftermarket alpine head unit and utilize the 05 Prius' built in Amplified Antenna. My guys are stumped at how to hook up/enable/power up/take power off of the factory head unit/toyota's built in antenna amp. Does anyone have the right info, schematic/wiring harness call-outs??? The 2006 wiring diagram just shows a single orange wire coming out of it, connected to pin A13 on the radio. It doesn't say what kind of voltage is on that wire though. If you hook up the original radio, you should be able to read it with a voltmeter.
