Put me solidly in the category of "if it really worked, the big car companies with BILLIONS of dollars of research into improving engines would have figured it out long before now". But I'm sure it does separate people from their money quite nicely... Dave
The intake turbulence idea is well established and it definitely increases mileage, but the downside is it makes a nasty noise that most people wouldn't put up with. This is why manufacturers are unlikely to install them as OEM. Maybe this new one is quieter than previous ones? Don't know. Same thing goes for performance. It's easy to increase the power of an engine with a free-flow exhaust and filter, but most people don't like the changed/increased noise.
