IIRC, The Netherlands is constructing floating housing to deal with the rising tides and sea levels. This does not currently extend to buildings yet. But, overall, a kind of proactive approach seeing that their reclaimed land is below sea level. DBCassidy
Well it looks like the Northeast passage is finally ice free from the Russian weather service: The strong, warm, west wind from the low appears to be clearing out the scattered ice foes in the gap to the polar ice cap. Also the channels between the islands and the Russian coast appear to be clearing. We'll know more tomorrow. Bob Wilson
