Finally!!!! I have spoke with Daniel at OEM AUDIO and I'm scheduled to get my system installed this Saturday!!!! I'm very anxious to see if it is all that and a bag of potato chips!!! I'm sure it is. I will be taking pictures of the installation and will get back with everyone on my take of the system. It has been a long while in the making but finally there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have personally made 2 Demo cd's of music that I love for them to try out once the system is installed. I'm sure OEM will deliver a product of excellence!!!!Have a good day!! God Bless!!!

    Hi everyone,
The day(installation day) has come and gone and here is what I promised you forum folks. My review on what took place goes as follows according to the pictures below. There are more but this is a short version I hope of what took place. Saturday morning I got up and decided to get some Krispy Kreme Donuts for the guys over at OEM Audio Plus. Arrived there in Anaheim only to be greeted by Daniel(middleman in picture) himself a short time later. Really polite knowledgeable gentlemen who welcomed my into the office where he proceeded to give me a heads up on the system and what was going to take place during the day. I then let him set up shop and bring my Prius C around back inside the shop for the installation process. I then met Conrad (guy on right side) who started working on some brackets for the installation. Front door speakers as shown are stock(left) OEM (right). Front door speakers installed using there plug and play method. No splicing or cutting of the wires. Next is the rear stock speakers(left) and OEM (right). OEM's rear speaker installed. Sorry for not taking a picture of the two amps/ bracket that tucks under the dash behind the glove box so very nice!!! They did there research on this one! Fit in there like a glove, perfectly!! Onto the sub box both front and rear views. You can see that they left open a notch for the rear vent to pass the air around the enclosure itself. Also notice the easy plug and lay hook up on the rear side. It's connected using one bracket behind the rear set ( two bolts) and a thumb screw provided by OEM on the top right corner using stock location to secure the sub enclosure. Fitment is very clean as you can see! Next I decided to sit inside the office while they finished doing there final tweaks to the system. I didn't want to hear it play till it was done. Although sitting in the office as they played it hearing different songs and volume going up/down it sounded pretty darn good behind the door. Boy was I so anxious to hear it I texted Daniel "Your killing me, sounds good in here!". This moment finally came after a year plus of Daniel and myself chatting back and forth The anticipation was so bad I was happy to hear the door finally open after 10 minutes hearing Daniel voice, Mike your car is done. Sigh!!! I walked over to the driver side to get in and Sandy was in there ready to play me a track from my favorite singer Andrea Bocelli- The Prayer with Celion Dion!! First impression is WOW!!!!!! Really like they say on there website "clean, crisp, clear", that is pure fact from unbiased opinion about this system. Everything sounds richer, fuller, and clear at any number you played whether it was 20-30-40.On the stock system 30 was my number usually and it may be different for you.Best way to describe it is like having a hi end home theater surround sound quality inside you Prius C. Amazing sound delivery on each instrument. You could here each individual one clearly and crisp. Sandy demoed a few more songs and then it was time to hit the road back home. My ride back in traffic was so relaxing cruising along to some demo cd's (variety of my favorites) I had made prior to coming down to there facility. Got home ate dinner and went to bed.

This morning got up to get gas at Costco. Jumped inside my car, turned on some music, and off I went listening to some great music from this new system. Yesterday hearing it for the first time great!!! This morning hearing it again reassured me of the R&D, quality, and care they incorporated in this system for our Prius C's to produce a top notch system you in my opinion. At this price point($1399) you get your bang for the buck!! Go to a audio retailer which I or we usually do to get upgrades for our vehicles and get something similar installed for this price point. It may be louder or have more watts like my truck I did years back. I spent twice the price $3000 got the works with high end speaker, subs, and amps. Compared side by side my truck louder more muffled the higher you get and my Prius C sounds clean and crisp!!!

My opinion bottom line is OEM Audio Plus delivered..... I'm a believer of word of mouth and take my word they are the real deal. Best bang for your buck and car. To those people on the forum who have installed their own systems I by know means am knocking you folks down. Again this is my take on this product offered for our Prius C cars. With that being said I want to thank Sandy, Daniel, and Conrad for taking there day off to come in and install my system. Had a great pleasure in meeting and chatting with you guys!!!!!! Best of luck!!! God Bless!!!
    Sincerely,
    Mike
p.s. I'm located in Simi Valley for anyone who want s to come over for a demo. No I'm not getting paid by them in anyway. Just hear it for yourself and then maybe you too will get this system installed in your Prius C! Text me(805-428-3026)

so...why no sound deadening if you're spending that much on a new audio system?

I asked them about the sound deadening issue and they said the system is tailer made for the car as it is. I was going to install some before installation but not needed. According to Sandy the car's interior is pretty quiet straight from the factory. Really sound good with no rattles that I have found yet. Clean and crisp surround sound!!!
As for the trunk install I see I forgot to add those pictures in my previous post Sorry!!!! Here you go. Fits like a glove!!! They did there homework on this one using all the space possible to get the sub to fit and work!

    Wow looks great!

I would check out the battery temps are with a Scan Gauge 2.

Mine run 100-110f then drop to 90s after the AC cools down the cabin. It does take time for it to cool down though.

Not a fun process (especially the first time), but relatively simple and painless.

Video install documents the entire process using a 5/32" drill bit and rivet tool for new (provided) Toyota Spec Rivets.

thanks for the video. That doesn't look hard, but what a chore. Removing all those things just for 2 strands of cables. Does your price includes install?

Installation not included. However if you're based in Southern California we are willing to perform the complete installation for a killer price.

We pride ourselves in producing completely DIY plug and play kits that utilize factory hardware locations and integrate intuitively into your vehicle — So whether a local shop installs it or yourself it’ll be a perfect fit.
