I've seen a number of nice electronic upgrades to the Prius, including the AV inputs, but I'm interested if anyone has any knowledge about the operating system of the Prius... a way to create a custom DVD that might provide some additional features that I (as a software developer) could use... or, some other method of taking advantage of the computer-on-board. The loading.kwi file on the nav DVD does have text that you find on the MFD, though most or all relate to what the nav ECU give you (nav, BT, maintenance reminders, etc). I also found some hints of text possibly relating to audio/video. Nothing seems to pertain to the energy or consumption screens, nor climate.
