Hi all, I was doing an EGR cleaning and decided to replace the PCV valve at the same time I had everything open. However, I didn't realize that the torque wrench that I bought was broken and not clicking on just about any of the bolts I tried it on despite the low torque. I had good enough instincts to stop trying to get it to click, however, I know that I very very likely over tightened my PCV valve and want to know how I should proceed. Would it be: 1. Back it out slightly and re-tighten it with a normal ratchet to hand tight+a little? 2. Leave it because there are no cracks in the housing and the car is running great/ is giving no error codes after a 60 mile test drive town and highway. 3. Some secret third thing (perhaps just replacing the valve itself or anything else?) Any advice would be welcome. My biggest worries are that there could be damage down the line as I'm not too familiar with how these things play out long term (mostly how the materials respond under pressure over time, or the risks associated). I'd be happy to leave it if that's the safest thing to do, but I'm happy to back it out too if that's better.
