    NJ may have a EV incentive too (no PHEV incentive though).
    I wish my street disallowed parking at nite, instead we get all 4 or 5 cars/per family parked in the street so the owners don't have the inconvience of shuttling cars.
    I always had a 2 car garage (even paid extra to get one on our 1st house in South Jersey)
    But the idea of protecting the old car in the garage is the opposite of what I like to do.
    We like to keep the good car warm and out of the weather.
    But if the PiP is destined for the driveway, I am thinking PiP is good way to go.

    if you go alone, you have the passenger seat. it has a passenger seat, doesn't it?

    The ED has the battery under the floor, so the trunk space should be identical to gas version.
