Sounds like you have something corrupted in your system. Welcome to winblows. I have one PC at home that currently will not communicate with the internet at all, yet will still happily talk back and forth to any other PC on the network, unless I'm adding something new to the network. Then it'll adimately refuse to have anything to do with that piece of equipment. <<shrug>> It's been like this for over a year now, as I just cannot motivate myself to do the one thing that will fix it - dump and reload the entire system.

Aside from that recommendation, I wouldn't mess with it, if everything else works fine.
