Hi Guys! Hope you’re all well. I have a Gen 2 prius, G Touring Model( has a hard drive mode for CDs) . Now since it didn’t have aux or Bluetooth, I went ahead and got a CD Changer Bluetooth Adapter from eBay. Now when I started installing it, to my surprise my car already had something plugged into the CD Changer slot, despite not having a CD changer menu. So I just took that out and plugged in my Bluetooth Adapter. Now my car still doesn’t show the CD Changer menu, however in HDD mode I can play the aux connection from my adapter. But when I try using Bluetooth, the music on my phone keeps pausing and hence I can’t play. Please let me know if there are any fixes. Thanks in Advance!
It might be a good idea to post your question the the Gen 3 Prius Audio and Electronics forum. The entertainment systems are different across generations so what works here might not work in your model Prius.
