    I think of it as my "retirement bike," since I don't get to go on many road trips with it at the moment. I'm tied up during the good weather, working as a construction engineer.

    I have ridden to the northern tip of Nova Scotia, out to the Gaspe, and some trips to New England.

    It's used around town, too, so it doesn't collect dust.

    Before I got the Prius I rode a bike every day from 2000 to 2006. Riding the motorcycle cost 3 times more per mile than the Prius or my TDI because tires only last 4500 to 5000 miles.
