    76,000 BTU in pure ethanol...so 90% of 115,000 plus 10% of 76,000...or ~111,100.
    That is about 96.6% as much.

    Great report full of details. Do you have a comparison with a regular Prius?

    Yes, but it's not readily available in document form yet.

    Knowing that would be quite useful, I started collecting data way back when the 230 MPG nonsense started. That's 50,000 miles of daily data spanning over 2.5 years of real-world driving. Needless to say, I'm well prepared.

    More info to add to the document...

    0.2 gallons per 100 miles
    11 miles = 0.022 gallons

    29 kWh per 100 miles
    11 miles = 3.19 kWh

    (# EV miles + # HV miles) / ((# kWh / 33.7 kWh) + # gallons) = MPGe
    (6 + 5) / ((3.19 / 33.7) + 0.022) = 94.3

    Notice how the numbers come into play.
