    For a 2013, I guess this can go either way depending on the mileage and options. Insurance companies take the salvage value and the cost of the rental car into consideration.

    Thanks - it was over a year ago and I got a medical settlement (whiplash) and roughly 16k for the Prius. I still miss it sometimes.
