PriusChat is the slowest site I visit

    I did try the ad block plus extension for firefox someone reccomended and there was a good difference - it got a lot better. I went to preferences and turned off javascript - the speed is now incredible and what I am used to. Does this point to a problem with something on my end? I believe my java is up to date. I am on an older system, maybe things are out developing my hardware, LOL?

    No, it just points out how much better life is once we quit
    kowtowing to those that want us to lower our own security stances
    just to see their bloated sites full of bad assumptions about
    visitor platforms. Reducing complexity often increases speed
    and definitely reduces vulnerabilities, and one of these
    days web designers will actually begin to realize this...
