PSA: Update your Wi-Fi Routers & Client OS

It is shocking, but hardly surprising. The code was probably cut and pasted from a handful of original sources. Once the core was done and "blessed" in some way by the development community, it just got propagated through the most common way of writing code: cut and paste. This is unfortunate, but, as I said, I've been there, done that and am not at all surprised.

What sucks is that many phones will be vulnerable. My home network is not that accessible and not that valuable a target, but a clueless teenager's unpatched phone connected to an unpatched wifi at a coffee shop is low hanging fruit for attackers and may contain some valuable info like bank login info of said teen.
