So I've see a lot of suggestions to gain the most MPG pulsing and gliding. I want to know how to work this style of driving into my daily routine of going to work. First of all, I live on the side of a mountain, mostly up and down, and sharp curves the first 10 minutes of my drive. After that it's a good 20-30 minutes of steady, but up and down hill highway driving 50-55 mph (I usually use the cruise control). After that it's in down town of ~30 mph to as low as 15 mph, depending on traffic, with lots of stops and same hilly terrain. I don't really understand this pulse and go stuff, I've read a lot of threads on it, but I really need a "P&G For Dummies" version for me, I'm a new owner and I'm trying to figure out how to increase my MPG.
