Remote illuminated entry

    Ah, so the light switch (up by the rear-view mirror) has to be in the "Door" position in order for the remote illumination to work? (In every car I've owned, I always kept it in "Off" until needed.)

    I'll have to wake up the "White Knight" tonite.... and see if she lights up for me.

    Remote illuminated entry is standard in all models of Prius. But on certan models more interior lights come on.

    Only the top reading lights come on in the Prius 2. In every other model the top reading lights and the foot well lights come on.

    After more research I have found out that on Prius 2 the interior map lights only go on when you are by the drivers doors with fob in hand.

    Also the map light switch has to set to door (middle position) for remote illuminated entry to work.
