2005 Prius JBL audio blown front door speaker. I bought a set of cheap pioneer speakers that have tweeters. I then watched some videos on how to replace the speakers. One of the videos said that you should only use a speaker that doesn’t have a tweeter. Is this correct? If so, can I just clip the wire to the tweeters or should I definitely return them for some woofer-only speakers? Or will it be ok leaving the tweeters functional?
