It also plays MP3s, if that's what is on there. Plays DVDs. You need a TV or something like that to view images or DVDs. Has USB 2.0 so it can serve as an external CD-RWand DVD-ROM. The CD-RW / DVD-ROM is a notebook computer part. Comes with battery, AC adapter, carrying case. I can see using this as in-car DVD player, connected to a portable TV or maybe one of those LCD monitors that are used with mobile DVD players. Office Depot had them on sale for $75 plus tax. That's way cheaper than you may be able to find. Even at $200, it is a good value, I think. Not at $75 right now, but keep your eye out for a sale on this thing.
