Routing of Cat5 and serial port in rear driver side hatch?

    Hey all, first time posting here. I've searched the cyberwebs and prius chat but couldn't find anything related to this topic.....Wondering if anyone knows where the serial port and the cat5 cable, located on the drivers side in the trunk, terminates. The cat5 cable is cut and laying on the floor under my drivers seat. Trying to find where to splice it back together. Thanks for your help in advance!

    Did your Prius have some modification like plug-in conversion installed on before? Maybe that was part of it?

    Yes because a stock Prius does not have a cat5 cable in it nor a serial cable. So probably abandoned wires from previous equipment install.

    Cat5 cable in a Prius? Must have been the controller cable for the experimental WARP DRIVE engine that WAS installed in the rear compartment. You can test if this is true by getting a technician to scan the fuselage of your Prius for Residual Temporal Flux Anomalies.......oh wait.....wrong century.....

    I thought I read somewhere that warp drive required Cat6 cable, but Cat 5 was fine for impulse engines. :D
