    Back to the original topic. Now a couple of weeks on, still just as bad, perhaps worse. Maybe the smoke will cloud out the sun enough to prevent global warming!

    Naw, all that soot/black carbon emissions will probably blow up to the Arctic and land on whatever remaining ice/snow is there and cause it to melt faster than usual.
