That sounds weird... So the traction control indicator goes when you leave your phone synced too long???
People are crazy. She looked, but probably didn't judge your speed correctly. . . It's illegal out here now to talk and drive.
Not because it was sync'd too long - I've driven many 8+ hour trips in the car with the Kiwi and Android/Torque App going and never had the problem. Normally when I shut off the car I grab my phone and take it with me (duh, I like to have my phone on my person). This particular problem only happens when I shut off the car and leave the phone in the car (like if I stop real quick for a restroom break on a road trip). phone is on, app is running, kiwi is still connected to phone. Not sure what causes the problem, but it's only after this that the TC light will throw and all apparent regen braking assist is gone. it's only happened about 5-10 times, and only 2 times since I noticed the correlation between the phone/kiwi issue. but it's scary enough that I haven't tried to replicate it further.
Flashing lights and siren behind me after high-torque take off from stoplight, then signals to me to slow down and drives by.... PHHHEWWW! -____-
A lot of people around here are advacting repealing the speed laws and cell phone laws. We have 85 mph PSL now. Day one of that a car rolled over trying to avoid a hog on the roadway. There is only one problem, they cannot repeal the laws of physics.
85 is good for me. People hogging the road are the brats the cops don't care about and now they've been spoiled and got used to it... -__- I go 75 in a 65 anyway BUT I don't hog the road. No swerving thru lanes, no tailgating, use CC, boom. Easy peasy.
I decided to test out my new EP422 tires by panic braking in the rain. These tires are known for weak wet/dry traction. At 30mph I stomped on the brake and the car stopped extremely fast! Granted I have the 17" version but like the OP I was pretty surprised at how quickly I was able to stop.
