Seatbelt Warning Sensor is Too Sensitive

I haven't had my Prius long enough to buy groceries, but when I do I'm sure I'll figure out where to put them.

I was just thinking that if one must transport something other than a person in the front seat, then fastening the seat belt around it is a possible option.

I have had to transport groceries in the front seat in my old car (because the trunk and the back seat were full of junk) and I really did fasten the seat belt around them. It's just an idea.
