I'm considering this from the shop here, but I saw the inside of the unit and have some questions. The squared loop receiving element looks like is only 1/16 wavelength; whereas a standard mast is 1/4 wavelength. Has anyone used liquid copper to extend the length? This is the stuff used to repair defrost lines on rear windows.

:embarassed: I totally forgot about that post I made 2 years ago. So it looks like an additional 29" of zip cord didn't make that much of a difference. However, I still wonder if using trace repair "paint" in as exact a mirror image as the original as possible might be better.
