Sodium Hybrid HV Battery

    I have no idea when the v3 battery will be available. Only Jack and maybe his associates know.

    I am not a fan of NexPower's prototype HV batteries. IMO, they have not been properly tested for a long enough time.

    The lithium pack that you presently own, is it the NexPower v2.x version or some other battery? If it is the Nexpower version, why would you buy the v3 sodium-ion version when you were bamboozeled into buying the 2.x lithium version. The lithium version seems to last about 2 years before encountering problems. Why do you think that Nexpower will honor the warranty on the v3 sodium-ion version when they did not honor the warranty on the previous lithium version?

    IMO, your best path forward would be to buy a complete used OEM battery from a wrecked Prius, or a refurbished battery, or a new Toyota OEM battery, depending on what you can afford.

    Edit: I now see from your previous thread, https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3419731 , that you have the NexPower v2.x lithium battery.

    The new version Sodium GT2 will come out in December.

    What is Jack calling this new GT2 version? Will it be called V3.x or V4 or something different. Are you allowed to say what is different between the GT2 verses the GT?

    The difference is an IP52 rating, about 9% more capacity and a 13% reduction in IR.

    Overall a more robust version than before.
