ok, some more on the Miev. 14Kwh battery, 1kw @ 110V, 2kw @ 220v charger. that is about 4 miles EV per hour of charging at 110 and 9 miles per hour of charging at 220V. The DC fast charger is the big plus with 15 miles of EV with 5 minutes of charging, 48 miles in 15 minutes. If you live somewhere with fast chargers installed around town, your set.

 

nothing in Washington DC according to that map, but plenty in Washington State. I don't know which Washington he is in.

There is another PC member DaveinOlyWA with a Prius and Leaf that uses a DC fast charger near his work. He can get something like a 30 mile charge while grabbing a take away lunch.

i get 35-40 miles of range in 11 minutes with DC Fast charge (currently only available on the i-MiEV and the LEAF)

10-15 miles/hour per L2 charging (240 volts/16 amp) or 4-5 miles per hour on L1 (120 volts 12 amps)
