My current car has it on the right side, but I really don't care. The fuel hoses are long enough so I can easily fill the tank, no matter on what side of the fuel pump I stopped.
I like pulling into the pump and not having to run around the car... although... the last time I filled up there were three other gas guzzlers(Suv's) there with only a single occupant-- the driver. I think I would have like to run around my car. I think my prius ruined me on every other car out there. *Sigh* I don't care. I love that car!
