    Sorry....My bad.
I forget that there are parts of the country that do not regularly get tornadoes.

Think of it like a 6.point.something on the Richter scale.
Strong enough to move some things around and DEFINITELY not something you want to drive through in a truck.....but not bad enough to call FEMA.....

    Squirrel Alert!!!

There's a Fujita scale and....because people like to mess with stuff like this now there's an "expanded Fujita scale" which probably has malevolent purposes dealing with "statistical analysis."

    YMMV.....

Got it! Thanks for the information. Yep, I'm a California native and don't pay much attention to weather conditions elsewhere unless I travel. Thanks again!

I know, right? I'm kind of the same way.

That's what makes something like this so confounding. It is as novel to us psychologically as it is immunologically. We don't even know a way to talk about it that isn't the way we talk about established bugs we grew up around. The whole idea is just hard to wrap the skull around.

I just have to remember this is one of those situations where my gut feelings might not be telling me everything I ought to know.

Thank you for that service. It's a very important kind right now.
