The Plugin has belt-driven accessories?

    Bisco, I'm with you on that. Seat heaters were all I used this past winter, except a week or two in the low teens when I turned on the heat. However, I think it was psychological, as I would have started a campfire in the passenger seat to warn up in those weeks. It was the only time, in six months, that I missed the Highlander.

    No belts.

    Cabin air heater can turn on the gas engine if it has not warmed up yet. However, there are heated seats that are fully electric.
