I would say no. I would also say that a lack of belief in deities, eternal life, and other tenets of most religions does not imply belief in "nothing". Not that humanity is necessarily the pinnacle of evolution to date - or creation, some would say - but the presence of life on this planet and maybe others does not require an omnipotent being to pull the puppet strings to guide us on our way along a pre-ordained path. Life is indeed wondrous and special, and it can be lived happily and successfully without 'faith'.
