Tire crack. Fix or new set of tires?

    I agree to get a different brand.

    I have had tires that looked like his and got several more years out of the tire,

    in many cases they were year or two year Old
    tires on a vehicle used For towing an RV or a trailer.

    most (but not all) tires that have catastrophic weather checking will get a slow leak as they continue to age. . . Once they start to leak they are junk And will blow out randomly.


    Yes I’ve had many dozens of sidewall blowouts on the rear of my tow vehicle over the years, usually on sub 3 year old tires. No accidents just frustration from the tire change on the roadside

    Guys,
    Huge thanks to everyone for your opinion.
    It looks like the other Goodyear tire has a lot of cracks, though they look more cometic to me.
    I made the decision to replace both tires.

    Anyone has experience with Hankook?

    The shop next to me wants to install these tires
    Hankook Kinergy GT H436 All-Season Radial Tire - 185/65R15 88H

    I bought them on eBay and they were 9/10. I wanted tires that increase my MPG and it was a good deal. I think I paid like 150 for a pair
