I installed a SCC1 Sirius Satellite pickup along with a TOY-SC1 interface in my wife's '06 Prius. Worked perfectly out of the box, until it quit without warning. I removed it, wiggled all the connections, put a tie strap on a loose connection on the TOY-SC1 interface and voila, it worked again - for about a month. The next itme it quit, I relocated the two units to behind the far right HVAC register so I could get at it easily by removing the register and glove box, which I had to today. Apparently there are known issues with this combo. Has anyone found a solution? I was thinking of installing a switch so I could cycle the power supply to the mini-fuse without taking the unit out at all. Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
