I acknowledged my mistake for going off outdated info from memory.

Any answers to my questions on Toyota's patents? Since you are more on top of this info.

Yeah... That's why I not only taught you how to to verify a reference that's not linked, but I also provided you the link. And as always, you're staying true to the Troll code of pretending the point wasn't actually ever referenced soon as the person replies right away with the actual referenced link. Some things never change in troll land.

    I missed this.
Supplying evidence of a point is now feeding the trolls.

Only when they ask for proof and then pretend like it's not really proof.

The basic thing we were taught was: you make a claim, you put your source(s) there. Right up front, without being asked. And if you forget and have to be asked, you do it, graciously, and without suggesting there's something wrong with the people who had to ask for what you left out.

But the main story here was that it was in your post #10 where you accused another poster of making stuff up for making a claim without sources included. While doing the very same thing yourself.

And please explain why you didn't reference that point? If you're going to say "the basic thing we were taught" why not clearly define who was doing the teaching and on what basis and from what source were they requiring that of whoever "we" is? :)

Or instead... Would you like to agree that "we" must be skillful when deciding if we need to provide a source for our claim and when its a waste of time?

A post prefaced with "I think" to denote I wasn't 100% sure on the facts.

yeah... I'm not too concerned about lack of references most of the time because I'm constantly confirming things as fact or fiction throughout the day. What gets me upset is the weaponization of lack of reference claims because most of the time when someone accuses me of a lack of references and I go back and provide the references they'll immediately discredit or deny the reference, which makes me feel like I'm wasting my time.
